🚑  Beyond Basics: First Aid Immersion 

A Full-Day, Hands-On Training Experience

Why Take This Class?

Most first aid courses stop at the basics. This 7–8 hour immersive workshop goes further — giving you the hands-on time, advanced skills, and real-world practice to respond in critical moments. 1 - 30 minute lunch break and 2 - 15 minute breaks will be provided. We have complimentary water and coffee readily available.

• Hands-on Immersion of many common medical and traumatic emergencies 
• Two-year Certification for Adult, Child, and Infant CPR | AED | and First-Aid through the American Heart Association
• American Heart Association First-Aid Workbook (physical copy NOT electronic) 
• Keychain (CPR faceshield) 

Every participant will go home with a First Aid Starter Kit & Goodie Bag, packed inside a First Aid Kit Bag for easy storage and portability.

Your kit will include:

• Adult/Child & Infant CPR mask (with gloves + carry case)
• CPR face shield keyring for on-the-go readiness
• American Heart Association First Aid Workbook (physical copy)
• First Aid Reference Guide (American Heart Association)
• Mini flashlight
• Triangular bandage
• Extra nitrile gloves
• Bandaids (assorted sizes)
• Chewable aspirin (for cardiac emergencies)
• Medical tape
• Gauze pads
• Trauma scissors (shears)

What to Bring

• Comfortable clothing you can move in (you’ll be practicing skills on the ground if you are comfortable with it) and don't mind potentially getting stained (we will be working with simulated blood)
• Snacks and drinks. If you bring lunch we will have a refrigerator for storage. Coffee and water available for free.
• Notebook and pen for extra notes

✅ Wound packing & gunshot/laceration scenarios

✅ Splinting broken bones (commercial & improvised)

✅ Seizure care, heart attack response, overdose emergencies

✅ Environmental emergencies (snake bites, heat/cold illness)
