This Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) Initial Certification course is an American Heart Association (AHA) instructor-led, classroom-only training designed for healthcare professionals who manage cardiopulmonary arrest, acute dysrhythmias, stroke, and other cardiovascular emergencies.
The course includes in-depth instruction, hands-on practice, and team-based simulations that help develop skills in advanced cardiovascular life support and emergency response.

All participants must complete the AHA ACLS Precourse Self-Assessment before attending class. A score of at least 70% is required.

Course Covers:
- High-performance team dynamics
- Adult cardiac arrest algorithms
- Recognition and management of respiratory emergencies, bradycardia, tachycardia, and cardiac arrest
- Airway management and rhythm recognition
- Use of medications during resuscitation
- Post-cardiac arrest care
Who Should Attend:
Licensed healthcare professionals including nurses, physicians, paramedics, and other personnel who participate in cardiovascular emergency care.
Course Format: In-person, classroom-based only
Duration: Approx. 12 - 16 hours over two-days (may vary by class size/experience)
Certification: American Heart Association ACLS Provider eCard (valid for 2 years)
Prerequisites:
- Current BLS Provider certification
- Completion of AHA ACLS Precourse Self-Assessment with ≥70%
