This Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers – Initial Certification course is designed for individuals entering or currently working in healthcare who need to meet employer or program certification requirements. This is a classroom-only course offering hands-on instruction and real-time feedback in a supportive learning environment.
Participants will learn:
- High-quality CPR for adults, children, and infants
- One-rescuer and two-rescuer CPR techniques
- Use of an airway barrier device
- Use of AED (Automated External Defibrillator)
- Rescue breathing with a bag-mask device
- How to recognize and respond to choking in all age groups
- Team dynamics in multi-provider resuscitation scenarios
Who Should Attend:
This course is ideal for nursing and medical students, EMTs, paramedics, nurses, doctors, dentists, CNAs, and other healthcare professionals required to have BLS certification.
Course Format: Classroom-based, instructor-led
